My horse loves the Himalayan Salt blocks.  They are a great way to ensure that your horse is getting all the required minerals in his or her diet.  They are mined and come right from the mountains and are not a ‘compressed’ block.  You know that your horse is getting the ‘real thing’ and not fillers that some salt block companies use to make salt blocks.  Also, since this is an actual block it is harder for the horse to bite off chunks and ingest too much salt at a time.  The 2 pound size lasts my horse about a month and as soon as it’s gone, she’s looking for her next one.  I would much rather purchase a Himalayan salt block than a regular compressed salt lick because I know she’s getting the real thing, not fillers and additives.  They are a great addition to your horse’s diet!!
